The Eighth Day Gallery

The Eighth Day Gallery is an unique, well-established gallery located on the north side of Chicago. Its main purpose, as a purveyor of fine art, is to represent high quality, contemporary artists from around the world. Initially established as a purely sculpture gallery, the Eighth Day Gallery has since expanded its mission to include other artistic disciplines such as painting, photography, glass etc. This eclectic mix provides exciting opportunities for showings that engage a broad spectrum of the contemporary art scene. The Eighth Day Gallery is defined by its relationship with many artists and continually tries to be a source for their inspiration and support.

Rosario Rosi has had an affiliation with the Eighth Day Gallery for many years and has chosen it to display and promote his sculpture. To this day, it remains the exclusive representative for his work and has placed many of his sculptures into collections around the world. The Eighth Day Gallery will soon move into its new quarters, the seven thousand square foot, former Charlie Chaplin, silent movie theatre in Chicago. It then foresees an ability to extend its operation to encompass other artistic media such as film, performance and music as well. Within these new quarters it will have the space to provide an occasion to view a substantial portion of the Rosi collection, including the expanded-scale works, under one roof.

Going forward, the Eighth Day Gallery remains committed to bringing the wonders of imagination and invention to the world in which we live.
